Places you can walk between
Locations are connected by exits. Leave, come back an hour later, and the hall is where you left it, with the same people in it.
Text RPG · AI game master
Rereal is tabletop role-playing with an AI game master. Say anything, go anywhere: the world has real locations, characters and items, and every place you discover stays in your playthrough for good.
Runs in the browser. No install.
What makes it a world
Locations are connected by exits. Leave, come back an hour later, and the hall is where you left it, with the same people in it.
Walk somewhere the story never described and the game master builds it on the spot. It is written into your playthrough and never drifts away.
Every character has a personality, a goal and an attitude toward you. They react only to what they could see or hear, and speak in their own voice.
Pick up the key and it moves into your inventory. Hand it over and it is gone. Items belong to you, to a character or to a place.
How a turn works
No menus and no fixed choices. Describe what your character says or does, by text or by voice.
The model reads the current slice of the world and proposes concrete changes: move the player, create a place, give an item, let a character answer.
A rules engine checks every change against the world state. Only valid changes are committed, then you get the narration.
Demo
One free-form turn, what it changes in the world, and a place created on the fly.
Built on Claude
Adjudicating a free-form turn means reading a structured world, respecting its rules and answering in a strict format every single time. Rereal uses Claude by Anthropic for that job.
For authors
Describe the setting, the opening scene, the locations and the cast in the story editor, then publish. Every player gets a separate playthrough that grows in its own direction.
